It was a little cold the entire trip, so I'd like to go again in the summer months. It's definitely a place that's fun to walk around, but the Underground transportation makes it easy to get to farther distances.

In the spring of 2008 I took a group of 32 travelers to London, England. While there, we saw the changing of the guards at Buckingham Palace, Piccadilly Circus, the Crown Jewels, Tower Bridge, Big Ben, and even had time to take a ride on the London Eye. We were also able to take some trips outside of the London area and visit Stonehenge, Bath, and Windsor. It was a little cold the entire trip, so I'd like to go again in the summer months. This was my very first trip - EVER - with a group. I hauled 51 students, parents, teachers, and friends over the Atlantic to tour Paris, Florence, and Rome in March of 2007. We got to see the Eiffel Tower, the Mona Lisa, Versailles, David, the Duomo, the Roman Coliseum and Forum, Trevi Fountain, Pompeii, and many, many other sites! Our Tour Director's name was Giovanni and I will NEVER forget him. We faced a lot of challenges, as novice groups do, but I still look back on this trip with the fondest of memories. After this trip, I decided that world travel would be a staple in my life as long as my body allowed. ~Mrs. Swanson |
